Postiljon; a surprisingly good Swedish beer

If you’re one of those trying to avoid the (annoying) Swedish habit of ordering a “stor stark” when entering a beer ‘n’ ale establishment in Sweden, or if you don’t know what that means but still like to drink beer while in Sweden, I can warmly recommend “Postiljon” from Jämtlands Bryggeri. It is a very traditional pale ale for which the Jämtland brewery has won many awards.

There are, of course, a number of other good beers available in Swedish; even some from large commercial breweries, like Red Lager from Spendrups; but you may have a hard time finding them in many pubs here in Sweden.
